Day 1Starting from the Gateway city of Las Vegas, begin your journey along the historic stretch of road known as Route 66. Arrive in Boulder City and enjoy a 12-mile float tour on the Colorado River beginning at the base of Hoover Dam (optional extra). Float by waterfalls, natural hot springs, geological formations, Indian shelters and a wide array of desert flora. Continue to Kingman for the evening at the Best Western Kings Inn and Suites.

Day 2Depart Kingman and travel through small communities which add history and flavor to your vacation. Valle Viste, the "newest" community on Route 66, was established in 1972. This section of the highway is alleged to be the "longest continuous curve" on a US Highway-approximately 7 miles. In Hackberry, the General Store is now the new Visitor's Center for Route 66. Continue through Valentine and Truxton to Peach Springs, home of the Hualapai Indians. Ride down 21 stories by elevator on a tour of Grand Canyon Caverns (optional), a natural wonder that began in the Mississippian period of geological time. Tour the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. Opened in 1988, Grand Canyon West has been maintained in its natural state. A four mile bus tour to Eagle and Guano Points (optional), provides 180 degree views of the Canyon and the Colorado River. Make a stop in Seligman at Juan Delgadillo's Snow Cap Drive-In, a must for any traveler along Route 66. Your final destination today is Williams, the Gateway to the Grand Canyon.
